Weed files work: Once you purchase a Weed file, you're free to play it all you want on up to three PCs. You also can burn the file to CD and play it on your stereo system, or transfer it to a portable device like the Creative Labs Nomad, the Rio S10, or any current Windows CE PDA. Best of all, you can share Weed files with anyone you like, as long as the files remain in their original form as Windows Media files. And if someone you share a file with purchases that file, you'll earn a payment for helping to distribute it.

of which are on the left) and play them for your friends.
Word of mouth is the best way to share new music! If we get a good response from the ones we've sent out, we'll do it again, but we're out of stock right now. If you're still interested in supporting R-Three, Click here to sign up for the R-Three Street Team or ETeam and we'll contact you. Remember, the BEST, most effective way to spread the word about R-Three, is to buy our CDs and play them for your friends. Already have our CD and still want to help? Cool! Ask your local college radio stations to play R-Three and/or as your local publications to feature our work (music reviews, interviews, etc...). If you can get their attention, we'll provide the music and the press kit and make sure you know about our new singles and our off-album productions first! Plus, we'll send you a little thank you gift for your efforts! Ask your local
record store to carry our CD.
Then tell us if they agree so we can contact the store and
make
arrangements. Thanks for your support, Rhett Redelings, R-Three Hey,

Charts
are important because
music sites, like radio stations, move songs up their charts, where more
people are likely to discover them, based not on artistry or integrity,
but mass appeal. Reviews and other indicators of quality are important
also, but mass appeal is where it's at, for the simple reason that music
sites and radio stations need repeat visits and listeners to hear and
see their advertisements, to succeed. And besides, there's no other
objective way to measure good art or music.
Simply put, an artist cannot be discovered and his/her music
heard, if the music isn’t at the top of the charts. So how do
new bands & artists climb the charts to get heard in the first
place? This is the special secret, the bazillion dollar question, the nut to crack, the date to make, the thing to know, the place to go, it's the mote to float.... It's some of the reason so many artists with sex appeal and/or powerful marketing efforts seem to “make it” when many other artists with “better” music, do not. Frankly, record labels are only going to promote a “sure thing” and the radio stations are, likewise, only going to want to play a “sure thing” because otherwise, they lose money. So, the preferred way for a new band or artist to climb the charts to be heard and discovered by the masses, is for fans of the music to get involved, visit the artist’s pages online, play the songs a lot, request the songs from their local/favorite radio stations and make the charts take notice.
|
This
kind of involvement in the process benefits the fans, because
they can influence the charts, which dictate which music gets the most
air play, which means they get to hear more of the music they like and
less of the music they don’t. It also
benefits the artist, of course, because the artist’s music can be
heard and hopefully purchased by more people and the artist will have
the satisfaction of knowing that his/her work is touching someone else
(sort of the point of art) and will have the resources to continue to
record and produce more music. So, get
involved. If you enjoy our
music and would like to see us succeed, then please, visit one of
our fan pages online, ask your local college stations to play
R-Three,
or send us
a note asking for a press kit to send to your favorite stations and
we’ll send you a CD and some stuff, free of charge in exchange for the
contact info of the people you’re sending it all to.
If R-Three isn’t your favorite group of artists, then go
support the artists you do love and help out the artists you know
personally.
If you do, you’ll make the world just a little better place and
if you don’t, then you don’t have a right to complain if you don’t like
what you hear what passes for pop music these days. Go get
involved. Thanks Rhett |
